Now that the coldest days of winter have passed, (we can only hope), how do we know if our furnace survived? Did this winter work it too hard? Will it keep cranking or give up in March? Will it start up again next year? All valid questions, and while there are no guarantees as to the health of your furnace or boiler, keeping it properly maintained is important. It’s probably the most important step you can take in home maintenance.
While we always say to have your HVAC systems inspected by a professional, how do you know when it’s time to purchase a new one? Do you just trust the guy who comes into your home and tells you that? Of course not! Unless you’ve worked with a well established, reputable company, who is willing to give you all and any references you need, you need to do your homework.
We all know we can look to social media for information, but do you really want to rely on a faceless, nameless opinion? Not me! I like talking directly to a present customer, to whom I can ask all kinds of questions. This way I can find out what is important to me. After all, Home Comfort Systems are important, and an investment. I want a dependable and experienced company who is working for me, and helping me understand all I need to understand. I need someone I can trust.
Technical systems are just that….technical. I do not need to know how the system works or was built! I want a company who will be there for me in an emergency and will do whatever it takes to keep my home safe, comfortable, and WARM for my family. That’s the bottom line. I want MY family happy and comfortable!
